Kevin Lyman

Kevin LymanAn HR executive with 30 years of global experience, Kevin has held C-suite roles in prominent technology companies. Partnering with CEOs, boards and global teams, he has improved business outcomes, evolved company cultures, and built talent at all levels. As an experienced coach, he is sought for his ability to help leaders set direction, get results, and create followership. With a record of successful M&A, HR technology, succession, talent management, and diversity implementations, Kevin has worked across all levels to help people achieve exceptional results.

Kevin served for eight years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Altera Corporation, repeatedly named one of the 100 most innovative companies in the world.

He built a robust succession infrastructure resulting in 80 percent of executive roles being filled with internal candidates; created a differentiated rewards program enabling top-performer turnover below two percent for six years; and implemented a comprehensive HRM system in 20 countries in only six months.

Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of HR for AMD. During his tenure, he established and ramped major international manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia, and completed four acquisitions and two spin-offs as AMD became one of the top seven global semiconductor companies.

Kevin’s government and community relations expertise includes roles on the Semiconductor Industry Association Operating and China Policy committees, time as a featured industry speaker for Invest in Germany, chairmanship of the Central Texas Executive and Education Council, and roles on the Chancellor’s Business Advisory Council for Foothill DeAnza College and St Edwards University. Kevin holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors in Education and Psychology. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at St Edwards University.
