As a seasoned Learning & Organizational Development professional, Christie Gilbert provides consulting and coaching services on projects, events and initiatives that result in meeting and exceeding client expectations. She brings to organizations powerful, efficient, and effective process methodologies and techniques that enable groups with complex problems to attain their targeted goals. Over a span of 20 years, Christie has facilitated groups in the US, Europe and Asia, across several industry sectors including computer technology, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, hospitality, construction and retail. She has provided coaching services to managers and executives that have enhanced the skills of leaders resulting in measurable performance improvement.

Christie’s career includes serving as Director of Global Learning and Development for software and semiconductor distribution companies, Manager of Management Development for Kinko’s, and Organizational Effectiveness Manager for Compaq (now Hewlett-Packard). She co-founded the consulting practice, Strategic Organizational Solutions, specializing in organizational development and learning.

Christie earned her B.S. degree in Business Management from Regis University. She holds a Master’s Certificate in Curriculum Instructional Design and Technology, with an emphasis in Corporate Education and Adult Learning, from the University of Colorado. She lives in San Diego, California where she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and cycling.
