Jennifer Konkin, Consultant

Jennifer is a consultant with Brainard Strategy who partners with clients on organizational development initiatives.  She brings over 5 years of experience in designing and implementing customized leadership assessment and development, talent management, team-development, performance management, and survey projects for a variety of clients across industries. Jennifer has specifically focused her research and practice in leadership development. 

Jennifer currently develops leadership training programs designed to expose leaders to new techniques and strategies for managing in a variety of situations.  Her creativity and deep understanding of organizational development creates value for clients in a variety of ways.  Jennifer takes an applied perspective to driving business solutions. Examples of Jennifer’s talent can be found in samples of her projects.  Jennifer’s performance management and total rewards design has lead to financial value and increased retention for a large healthcare system in Southern California. Jennifer’s technical expertise and leadership development experience lead to the creation of a comprehensive learning program, to include the implementation of a Learning Management System, for a $3 billion food company.   And finally Jennifer’s deep expertise in assessment has driven productivity, skill development, and growth in many individual executives over the past 3 years at Brainard Strategy.  

Jennifer has personal interest in the performing arts.  She performed as a musician for several years and can occasionally be found supporting the administrative effectiveness of performing arts groups by working with their leadership team or coaching select leaders.

Jennifer is currently completing her dissertation research while working as a consultant with Brainard Strategy.  As a researcher, Jennifer has investigated issues related to team performance, diversity, and leadership.  Currently, Jennifer is conducting research into the factors that drive success of high performing leaders. In addition to her career interests, she is working towards her PhD in Consulting Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA.
